Earth, 2142.

It’s been ninety-seven years since the Serpican Police and mankind’s benefactors, the Nartuni, joined forces to topple the insane military genius Tak Akita. Anxious to claim the alien race’s promise of faster-than-light technology in exchange for one hundred years of peace, Serpican agents have integrated themselves into the remnant nations of Earth. They launch covert strikes at any troublemakers, regardless of motive.

Lieutenant Reed Barowe is one of their best. His latest mission is the escort of a Nartuni ambassador through Greenland. Ambushed by an unknown paramilitary unit, and released into the country’s barren ice shelves, Barowe comes face to face with a charismatic, brilliant, unstable man who is leading isolated villagers in a desperate defense against the same phantom forces.

And this rogue might just free mankind — or see it to its ultimate destruction.

Together, they will discover THE TYRANT STRATEGY.

Trader Joe’s Vegetable Masala Burger:  Review

I picked up this pack of four masala veggie burger patties from Trader Joe’s the other day, and WOW it’s like fireworks in your mouth delicious!  This is definitely the best frozen veggie patty I have had, to date.  It browns nicely in olive oil and has the best warm, lightly spiced aroma. 

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of tasting masala - it has a similar flavor to curry.  And unlike other veggie burgers, these are not loaded with processed soy proteins.  Instead, they are made of potatoes, carrots, and peppers.  

I paired these with Tandoori Garlic Naan Bread, also available from Trader Joe’s.  

I am so addicted.
